10AM Palisades Alpine Boat Basin. This is a wonderful 5 mile loop with one gradual ascent/descent and great Hudson River views. Hopefully we will see eagles and other raptors. Optional lunch in Alpine Boat basin .

10 AM Brownstone Pancake House Englewood Cliffs (Palisade Ave. and Rt 9W) on benches outside. Parking in parking lot. Just check with manager. We will walk down to Englewood Boat basin, pass Ross Dock and continue to explore some interesting sites. This walk is mostly level with great views and an interesting neighborhood. Lunch at a wonderful Hudson River view.

We will make a lovely loop of approximately 5 moderately paced miles with interesting sights of this historic town. Included is a visit to Sparkhill seeing beautiful views along the creek on our return.  Bring lunch and wear sturdy walking shoes.

Todays exploration takes us on the rails to trails where we will see lovely vistas of the Hudson River and Mario M. Cuomo Bridge. Upon our return we will visit the Piermont Pier where we will hopefully see some interesting birds. Moderately paced 6 miles.

8:30 AM at parking lot on right side of Rt 9D (traveling north from Bear Mt Bridge) 
Type Bull Hill, NY into Google Maps and your GPS will lead you to parking lot. This will be a loop hike following the Washburn, Notch, Brook, and Cornish Trails. The hike offer panoramic views of the Hudson Highlands, dramatic ledges and some minor rock scrambles. As well as some old ruins. This hike has something for everyone. We will hike as a group; leader will adjust pace of hike to accommodate participants. You can find a detailed hike description in 50 hikes in the upper Hudson Valley, Chapter 2, by Derek Dellinger. 10AM Ramapo Valley Reservation. We will have one gradual climb passing a lovely waterfall and then on to a moderately graded woods trail and ending with a walk around the lake where hopefully we will see the swans in residence. Optional lunch by the lake.

10AM Ramapo Valley Reservation. This will be a reverse walk of Ramapo Ramble 1. Lovely and looks totally different. Gradual climb up to the reservoir, then taking the loop Red Trail in the opposite direction and returning by way of the waterfall and ending with a walk around the lake.
